The second half of 2024 was a very intense 6 months, with lots of travelling, several family events, and multiple woodworking commissions! Now I have lots of projects to share, so will be doing an intense blogging focus throughout March to upload a whole load in the queue from the past year!
I had my first commission back in 2023 to make a Noughts and crosses loo roll holder, which I shared on my blog in 2024. Since then I’ve had several more requests and commissions, including several smaller items of furniture, a bespoke side gate and a custom rocking chair. And I have another two custom projects ongoing currently, to be shared later this year, with the potential for a further three commissions later on in 2025! So the past year has definitely involved spending a lot of time in the workshop making things (and less time blogging about it!).

I have more than 60 completed projects in the queue to upload this year including:
- Upcycling a coffee table
- House-shaped napkin rings
- Drawers and drawer pulls for my mitre saw bench
- An oak book holder
- A carved oak bear for my nephew
- An oak plant pot stand
- A hinged boom arm for the workshop
- An anvil stand for metal working
- An oak box for holding board game pieces
- A corner shelf
- A sofa end table
- A carved oak wolf for my niece
- Workshop shutters
- A Father’s Day music notes present
- Solar light stakes
- An entirely custom and highly functional dual-vice workbench
- An updated hot chocolate tray design
- A custom Anniversary planter
- A bespoke rugged-yet-decorative side gate
- A custom oak rocking chair

Keep an eye out for all of these projects and more, coming soon! 🔨
